The first time I used it, the switch sprang back to the "on" position when I turned it off. I thought I'd fumbled it,so I made no notice of it. Didn't have occasion to use it again for about six weeks, when I discovered that this actually happens MOST of the time. That's right, you turn the mixer off, go to reach into the bowl, and the paddle is cranking again, ready to amputate your finger!
Went to the website, and discovered that the "return window" was only a month long...I would be charged a 15% restocking fee and would have to pay shipping both ways. So I'm stuck with this defective, dangerous mixer. I have to unplug it when I'm done mixing with it and I can't let the children (9 and 13) use it for fear that they will injure themselves!
