To say that i am pleased with my kitchenaid artisan is an understatement!! I have had it for 3 months now, and i wonder how i baked without it!! It has plenty of power, it is easy to use, is very secure on your counter and has a new type of splash guard that is wonderful. With all the color options, you can find one that will look beautiful on your counter. This machine comes with a deep 5qt bowl that locks into its base for secure mixing, so you never have to worry that the bowl will "spin away" while you move away from the machine. It can handle the lightest whipped cream or the heaviest bread dough with ease. There are only two drawbacks to this machine, and they are minor. One, it only comes with one bowl, and secondly, you have to be careful not to overbeat some batters. This machine is strong.
