I've had my KitchenAid for about a month now, and I absolutely love it! I use it all the time. I've never had a stand mixer before, and I can't believe it took me so long to get away from the old hand mixer, which was on its last legs anyway. The KitchenAid holds up to the double batch of cookies that I make about twice a month. My mashed potatoes have never been so smooth and fluffy, and I made rolls for the first time in my life with great results. I'm right-handed, and unlike other reviewers have not found the speed control difficult to use. This mixer is solid (doesn't bounce all over the place, even while mixing bread dough) and doesn't look tacky sitting out on the counter.
