I bought this mixer 3 years ago but wanted to wait before reviewing it to make sure it lasted and it has! This is probably the single best item made by KitchenAid. Writing more about how great this mixer is, is a waste of time because everyone who knows mixers knows this is the one to get.
I will say this...you might consider buying it at Williams and Sonoma because they have a return policy that never expires! So if i goes bad (or even if you don't want it anymore) afer 5 or 10 years you can return it for a full refund. You will probably pay more but to some it might be worth the assurance since I have heard occassional reports of these mixers (most likely refurbished) going bad with minimum use.
