I bought this mixer as the focal point of my kitchen. I find that I still "hand stir" more than I use this thing. I like it mainly because it sets off my black granite countertops! I have had to work my whole home decor around matching this unit! I have red pillows on my cream couch, and my barstool covers are red! I can't make any decisions regarding decorating unless it goes with this red mixer!!!!!
Actually, the unit works great. I recommend using the splash guard attachment, as ingredients tend to splatter outside the bowl without it. When mixing your cookie dough, remember not to overmix. You don't want your dough too hard. It will ruin the cookies.
