I've always wanted my wife to own one of these. Like
Air Streams, Unisaws and Hasselblads, Kitchen Aids are at top
in their class. This machine weighs a lot, takes up one square
foot of counter space and the red paint looks like it's 6 inches
thick. The Kitchen Aid simply looks too nice to store under
the counter. Ladies, leave it out so that your girlfriends can
eat their hearts out. Whether its meat loaf, mashed potatoes,
pie mixes or anything else you can dump into its ample 5 quart
bowl, this sucker can whip it with ease.
Few machines work as well as they look. This red behemoth
is one of them. I bought her the can opener attachment from
Amazon last week. It's quite impressive looking sticking out
4 inches from the power hub. Just be careful that you don't
whack your elbow on it. I got the feeling that it could open a
55 gallon drum. I told her the rest of the attachments are on
her. Mind you, this is a woamn who hasn't baked in 31 years of
marriage. But when I pulled it out of the box and placed it on
the kitchen counter, she went nuts. She LOVES it!!!!!!
She wanted a red one so thats what we bought. It isn't cheap
but you get what you pay for. It should last a lifetime.
It even got me a kiss on the cheek.
Never put it away-it looks too damn good just sitting
