I bought the KitchenAid KSM150PSBU Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer in Cobalt Blue last Christmas form Amazon for $199.99 that also came with a free smaller mixing bowl and timer. The mixer is great and such a dream to use. I love home made chocolate chip cookies cause the chips stay gooey and you can't buy cookies like that in stores. I hated to make them with my old hand mixer but this now is amazing. All you do is drop in the ingredients and let the mixer do the rest. Everything mixes just right, butter to sugar and flour are perfect. Only thing i do by hand is mix in the chips and nuts. I found it mixes things at the sides and bottom fine but like even hand mixers you still need to scrap but after you do just turn it on and way it goes.
