My dad got me this mixer as a Christmas present, something I had been wanting for a very long time. My mom has had her Kitchenaid mixer for 30 years. Now that I have it, I absolutely love it. I bake more cookies now. My only complaint is that it is very hard to pour ingredients into the mixer while it's running. The head always gets in the way, making it hard to turn a measuring cup enough to pour out all the ingredients (particularly the dry ingredients). Otherwise, the size is nice, it feels sturdy and reliable, and the standard attachments are plenty enough for everyday use.
