Well, we all know how hard it is to find THAT combination in anything but there are those rare times when you get all three in one fantastic package. This is one of them. I bake about twenty loaves of bread and six pizzas every week and for a while I was relying on bread machines to mix up my dough. Well, we've had it over three years now (as of 10/2008), and I threw out 3 or 4 different appliances (including our hand mixer) because this machine does it ALL! We got the pasta attachment, and he no longer has to take extra time off from work to make his own pasta.

We just recently (8/2008) bought the meat grinder/veggie cutter attachments and they are GREAT! We make our own ground chicken, turkey, beef, etc. We save money and get to choose the quality of meat we use.

I made sure to buy the quilted cover for it, and that was DEFINITELY a smart thing. It keeps all the cooking debris (including grease and dust) off the machine, and you can store some of the attachments underneath it. It keeps our counters looking neat. It's machine washable, and if you get the black one make sure to use a detergent that WON'T make the color fade out or bleed (Woolite Dark, for instance) because the cover is made out of cotton.
