I am happy with my kitchen Aid Artisan Series 5-quart mixer. I had two stand mixers in the past that were the Sunbeam brand and they both stopped working after not much use. I had looked into a Kitchen Aid stand mixer in the past but at that time they were too tall to fit under our cabinets and too heavy to put in a cupboard. I am happy that there were many colors to choose from. The Onyx black worked out well in our kitchen and I am able to have it in a corner and the black color doesn't dominate. The mixer is so powerful and easy to use that it makes baking a breeze. I'm glad I got it through Amazon. The price was right and there was a special so I didn't have to pay shipping.
