Using the Amazon web site to order was easy and convenient. Delivery was on time and in perfect condition. The KitchenAid Artisan does everything it claims to do. It has more than enough power and handles very easily. It is flexible enough to do many jobs, especially if accessories are used.
In comparing it with our previous mixer, a Sunbeam Mixmaster, my wife likes the extra power. However she does miss the wider bowl of the Mixmaster and the two counter-rotating blades which she feels did a better job of blending ingredients quickly.
I looked at the larger KitchenAid mixers and decided that they were too big and heavy to be convenient for using and storing under the countertop.
