The KitchenAid Stand Mixer is one of the most used things in my kitchen. I have loved this item since my very first use. I have some of the accessory pieces as well, like the slicer/shredder attachment & the ice cream bowl. I haven't had any problems with any of the mixers I've owned. I have owned a 5-quart and now own a 6-quart, had to get the Nickel finish to go with my kitchen.
