I looked at other stand mixers after my last hand mixer started to smoke. I researched, and researched every stand mixer known to man and i decided on this one. The one thing that made up my mind was the fact that everyone I knew who had one of these, NEVER had anything bad to say about it. My aunt has had it for about 25 years and it works like it's brand new. $249 or whatever the current price of these mixer is, it's worth it.
