I am actually new to using a mixer. The only thing I have ever owned was a cheap hand mixer just to mix cake batter.I recieved my mixer as a gift and am delighted. NOW it seems a whole new world of cooking opportunity has opened for me with my Kitchenaid mixer. I guess that sounds cheesy to experienced cooks but I am so excited and wonder why I never bought one of these before. Just a couple nights ago I made a cake and a Watergate salad with my mixer and it was so fast and easy! Cleanup was a cinch too. And this is one HEAVY DUTY piece of equipment. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is I don't know what a five star mixer works like. Maybe this is a 5 star and I just don't know it! It works great.
