This mixer really does do so much more than any other mixer. most mixers cannot mix bread dough or the motor will burn out, kitchenaid has mixed hundreds of loaves of different types of breads for my family. I have owned it since 1985 and never have had any problems. cleans easily and still looks brand new. Whips cream, egg whites and even hot milk better than any other utensil or appliance I have used.
