Absolutely love it! My mom had a stand mixer & I always wanted one but they seemed a luxury due to price. The black one KitchenAid KSM150PSOB Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Onyx Black was a good deal on Amazon & I had a nice surprise after getting it & saw the notice the rebate offered by KitchenAid is going 'til sometime in March. I read MANY reviews before purchasing; the one that was most helpful explained about calling customer service about adjusting the setting of the beater using a dime in the bottom of the bowl! I did that trick and it worked perfectly for me also -- altho' I needed such a minor adjustment I couldn't believe it. Wish I had more counter space as mine is limited. Low noise level which was a nice surprise, even on highest setting. Well-made and should last at least 25 years by the feel of it. I've made three pans of brownies from scratch, mints, frosting, and really enjoy using it. Ok I love my mixer - it stays out and mixes bread, sauces etc. - After a year and a half it was smoking - I called the number right on the mixer - a week later a new one came and I sent the old one back - that was good customer service

Now over 9 years later the attachment port did not turn with power - called customer service - a week later a refurbished one arrived - no run around - no games - the best customer service on the planet.
