I've wanted a mixmaster for years and finally had the space for it. This model is large enough to knead a two loaf batch of bread. The kneading function is great! No more mess and tired hands from hand kneading! It can also do a pretty large batch of cookies. When I asked my sister, who has the "professional" when she needs a mixer that large, she said, "when I want to make a million cookies." I guess if you bake a ton, you would want to move up a model, but for regular baking and breads, this model is fine. I've made two different types of yeast bread with wheat flour and bread flour and the machine has done a great job.
