I seriously recommend against the KitchenAid machine. I bake a lot of bread - everything from white toasting bread to sourdoughs and multigrain breads, and it has a very tought time keeping up with the dough (single batch!) and not overheat. Finally, the gearbox seized up on me....
The machine I have is the predecessor to this model, but with the same wattage.
