I bought my first KitchenAid mixer 25 years ago. It was my most used appliance. I decided I deserved an upgrade and I'm very happy with it. I especially like that the head tips back. I used the other kind that lifts up when I owned a coffee house and was not impressed with it. I also like that all my attachments still fit my new mixer. And I like the mixing guard. I had one before but gave it away because its design was simply too clumsy. This one is very cleverly designed and I use it often.
