I love this mixer! It's nice to have an all-in-one appliance on my countertop that I can use to do pretty much anything.
Be warned however that it is heavy (close to 30 lbs) and that the top mixer part only goes back so far, making some things a challenge. My only other complaint is how you have to push in & turn the mixer/beater/etc attachment into the top part. That wouldn't be a problem except if you're trying to remove the mixer/beater attachment after having just used it (i.e. to scrape the beater, for better access to the bowl, etc).
Aside from that, I just love it. My husband was skeptical at first but now thinks it's really cool.
As it's an expensive item, I shopped around quite a bit before purchasing and Amazon had the best price (although price varies by color). The free shipping is a major bonus given the weight of this machine. Amazon sometimes runs kitchen coupons so check for those and for kitchenaid rebates.
