This stand mixer is the absolute worst mixer anyone could purchase. I purchased this mixer with high expectations only to find myself packing it up to take it back where I purchased it. First of all, it's completely impractical. Did KitchenAid ever think about putting the lever and controls on both sides? Seems to make a lot more sense. Furthermore, you better have a lot of time on your hands to do a lot of scraping. This mixer won't even get the sides. So, every few minutes you have to stop and lift the mixer to scrape it down. Please do not waste your money on this product. The Sunbeam Heritage Series far exceeds the KitchenAid in mixing, function and the motor......KitchenAid is a 375 watt and Sunbeam is 450 watt!!!!
