I confess to being partly attracted to this appliance because I love anything that comes in red. That having been said, I'm also a good cook who loves to entertain in grand style and make things from scratch. I also have a 2-year old son who lives for making cookies in our "Cookie-monster" as he calls it. Knowing that about myself, why I never got this thing before is beyond me. It's so powerful! Fresh whipped cream in seconds. None of that processed Cool Whip junk ever again. I can have the potatoes mashing while doing other things. Several batches of cookies at once without wondering if you're going to blow a fuse with that terrible little hand-held.
