I've always wanted one, so when I saw this KitchenAid at a good price, I knew I had to get it! My husband wasn't convinced at first, but now that he's been the taste tester for a few recipes, he agrees that this was a good purchase. I was a little skeptical at first because of some of the negative reviews and comments that it was cheaply made, but overall I am satisfied. My only complaint is that the low speeds are really low; if you really need to mix something you have to turn it up a bit high and that gets a little noisy. I have wanted an Artisan mixer for a long time and finally got a great deal on Amazon. It said the box had some damage but when it arrived it was in perfect condition and the mixer is great. I have now taken up baking again because having arthritis in the hands meant mixing etc was difficult. With my Artisan it couldn't be easier. Everything is so quick and clean up is easy too.
