The head of the mixer sits too close to the center of the bowl. It is next to impossible to add ingredients while the mixer is running. A plastic attachment is included that's supposed to fix the problem, but it doesn't. It is a two piece gadget that comes apart too easily, and its tilt it not sufficient to get ingredients into the bowl without the use of a spatula. The planetary mixing action misses the center of the bowl and does not get close to the edges, making for LOTS of stopping, lifting the head and scraping the sides, all while balancing the plastic tilty gadget to keep it from falling into your mixture.
It barely has enough power to make usng the dough hooks worthwhile, and without the head securely locked, the thing rears up at the slightest load. However, it does look really good sitting on the kitchen counter. If you like to cook, this mixer only frustrates.
