My wife loves to bake and this mixer is something she has wanted for a long time. I was unable to think of something to get her for Christmas until we were in an appliance store and she started looking at one of these on display. By following the adjustment instructions your mixing utensils will mix all of the ingredients thoroughly. One note, I would suggest hand washing the attachments, they lost their shine after a run in the dishwasher.
