This is one kitchen toy I would not be without. Mine was purchased in 1970 and has been used all the years since. Rarely a week goes by without it being used. The book is really useful, not only for the tons of great recipes, but also for great ideas on how to use the mixer beyond baking. We've made pasta, and dumplings and mashed potatoes which were all great. It also gives great tips on which of the attachments make the most sense for us to buy.
