Since I do not have the counter space to leave the mixer on, I leave it in the shipping box when I am not using it. You should be aware, that this mixer is quite heavy and if you do not lift weights, you may want to get into shape.

I love my KitchenAid. After me burning up 5 mixers in one year making icing, my daughter decided that I needed a kitchenaid mixer, so she surprised me with one. I have always wanted one. The day I got it I made a superman cake for my Grandson's birthday for which I needed a double batch of buttercream icing.
