I love this mixer!! My Hamilton Beach mixer broke after 3 years of use, and I have enjoyed the upgrade to the KitchenAid. The price for this one was absolutely the best I have seen. Everywhere else it was around $300- maybe $239 on a major sale but Amazon had it for $174! It has done a beautiful job with everything I have thrown at it- and I love to cook. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is b/c I haven't tested the dough hook yet. Just wanted to share a handy tip. My bowl got locked in, and would not budge any way I turned it. WD-40 didn't help. I called the service number on the side, and a woman told me to put on the floor sideways and put the full weight of my body on the bowl. She assured me I would not damage it (then I remembered the whole thing's made of steel -- not even any plastic parts). So I held it with my hands and put my weight into my foot and stepped on the bowl handle, and it rolled loose!
