Ten years ago I bought the Kitchen Aid mixer and loved it. The only thing I didn't like about it was the plastic piece that you place on the bowl was in two pieces and a complete hassle to use. Well, I moved country and had to buy another with different voltage, and guess what! They fixed it! Now you just slip the plastic piece on, and pour things in! It is nice to know that this product just keeps getting better. This is the best mixer you can buy- no question about it. It is worth every cent. It never fails me, is easy to clean, and is very versatile. Great for baking bread. I don't know how you can bake without one. Try the pasta attachments for a bit of fun making your own pasta! It is a great thing to do with the kids. Too bad it is just a little bit too expensive, but I guess that is because you only need one for generations.
