I think this is an awesome machine! I have always wanted one, but never did much cooking to justify getting one. So I got a cheaper $40 mixer. While that was works just fine, it doesn't stand up to what I need anymore. Now that I am doing more and more cooking, I need something that can take the abuse...well this machine can! While I still have my old one because it also serves as a hand mixer, the KitchenAid will be called upon to do many more tasks than the cheaper mixer!Get more detail about KitchenAid KSM150PSER Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Empire Red.
