This is our second Kitchen Aid mixer, the previous one speed control died after only 57 years and Kitchen Aid no longer supported parts.
There were no suprises the mixer is an excellent choice. The only negative comment is the motor tilt hinge is loose, the motor moves relative to the base when kneading bread.
