Ever since before I was married; I wanted to have a nice well made mixer!! After seeing my mother in law with one; I wanted to get one myself!! I've used the classic before and liked it! Since I make a lot made from scratch; it's nice to depend on something that will last!! I was definately impressed with the motor; parts; and stability!! I looked for a long time at other makers of stand mixers because my grandmother had a classic Sunbeam stand mixer. After checking out the competitors and reviews; I decided to go with a Kitchenaid! I have had a Kitchenaid hand mixer for 10 yrs.+! It's finally giving out but I look forward to using my stand mixer for a long time!!
