Wow, my mom bought me one of these a while back for my birthday, but it did not come from here. It cost her much more, even though she found a very good deal also. Mine did not come with the splatter cover. I bought her this one, saved tons, and she loves it. If you plan to make cookies or bread you need this stregth motor, but it is pricey. This one was a great deal, and the quality cannot be beat when it comes to mixers. My grandma has one that is over 40 years old and just now getting old, ha ha just kidding hers is fine. She is the one getting old and can no longer pick it up b/c it is too heavy for her.
