KitchenAid KSM150PSER Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Empire Red Best Quality

Over the last few years I have been learning to cook, and as I've added new dishes and techniques I realized a stand mixer would be a handy thing to have. I've been eyeing the Kitchenaid series for about a year, and finally the prices came down to just under $200 for the Artisan series. It has been fantastic- I've baked french bread, cinnamon rolls, yeast rolls, made Christmas cookies, and mashed potatoes so far. All have turned out well with the exception of the french bread (not sure what happened there but rest assured it was me and not the mixer!). This has made all of these activities much faster and easier- kneading bread is a cinch. We've never had such creamy potatoes- apparently I never mixed them long enough with the hand mixer. I highly recommend this mixer. I haven't had the opportunity to try any of the gadgets you can attach but hopefully I will get some for my birthday. My only recommendation is to purchase a cover for it, I don't have a lot of room in my kitchen so while I am cooking other things I sometimes splash on the mixer. Luckily it is easy to clean up, but I think a cover would be easier. Get more detail about KitchenAid KSM150PSER Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Empire Red.
