My husband bought the mixer for me 3 years ago for an early Christmas present and don't know how I ever got along with out it.
I use mine for almost everything. It is of course great for baking, but I also use it to mix all my meatloaf ingredients and for a cheese ball that uses cream cheese, dried beef, peppers & onions. I used to do that by hand and it got quite tiring, now the mixer does all the hard work for me.
I would recommend this to anyone. The price could scare the cheapest of people, I know because that is me. But it is so worth the price, good and sturdy, you won't have to worry about it coming off your counter.
