My Braun mixer finally died after almost twenty years. I wanted a stand mixer and Kitchenaid had such great reviews on Amazon and other websites. My husband told me to buy the mixer I want. I work long hours and like to cook to relax sometimes. Also I do a lot of baking around the holidays like most people. I tried out the mixer yesterday on pumpkins rolls and made a quiche. Haven't tried dough yet, but I think I will be thrilled with that as well. I also got the slicer/shredder and it is a marvel of engineering! I didn't even need the instructions to put the thing on the mixer. Simple and shreds cheese GREAT! I am left-handed and the mixer is easy to operated and works so smoothly.
