I got this as a gift after pining over it for quite sometime. I have never been much of a cook but the KitchenAid stand mixer makes baking and cooking so much fun that I feel like I am a pseudo-chef in my little kitchen. Everything I have made so far has turned out perfect (seriously!). Even the loaf of bread I made turned out fabulous--and bread is no easy feat! In one week's time I have also made delicious chocolate chip cookies, french vanilla ice cream (get the ice cream attachment!) and lemon sorbet.
Buy with confidence. The price is well worth the high quality construction, durability, and sheer attractiveness (it is a beauty!).
The only downside is that none of this will be good on the old waistline...Oh well! Eat, drink, and be merry!
P.S. We got the mixer in the color ice, and in a word, beautiful. Best. Color. Ever.
