I had been wanting this mixer for years and finally received it for Christmas. I have had less expensive mixers in the past- even the $99 Sunbeam with the same power as this mixer. The problem with the others is that they were not heavy enough to stay in place when I would make cookie or bread dough. Not so with this machine. It is solid and barely moves with the thickest of doughs. I had to give up baking from scratch due to arthritis until I got this mixer. It makes the process so easy and painless that I can now bake again. I love this machine!!! It has been worth every penny.
