I bought this mixer for my mom for Christmas. She has wanted a "good" mixer all her life and is thrilled with it. I only paid around $150 for it through Amazon (I hit it lucky and got some special deal) and it sells for $300 in the stores. Mom loves the mixer and has commented that she no longer has to work so hard to make things. In fact one day I walked in the house and she said she was making mashed potatoes. When I looked she wasn't even near the mixer. I asked, who is making mashed potatoes...you or the mixer?
