I love Kitchen Aid, and have always been impressed by their quality. I am a little upset to see them gradually outsourcing their manufacturing. A lot of thier products are now made in Communist China. What isn't completely made overseas is partially outsourced to 3rd world countries so that they can still advertise that the product was "assembled" in the USA. When you are paying this much money for a product, they can afford to support our free country instead of Communist countries (where the majority of the profits go to the US-hating leadership and not the deprived citizens,) or other countries that do not have to abide by the same standards that we have to here. So far this product has held up fine, (as I have only had it for a month and Amazon already wants me to review it,) but with the sacrifice of moral standards usually comes a sacrifice of quality standards.
