I bought one of these for myself last year. I'm not a heavy user, but it has performed well for any work I've done, is easy to use, clean and maintain. Overall, I'm quite a happy customer.
I was so pleased with it that I later purchased one as a gift for my sister and had it shipped to Canada. When she opened the package, there was a small scratch on the top of the unit. She called the US KitchenAid number, who said they could not help her and gave her the KitchenAid number for Canada. When she called them, besides being rude, they were unhelpful. They also said that the warranty was void as soon as the product left the US.
