I've been wanting a big ol' beastie of a stand mixer for awhile now, and my Easter Bunny (ok, my Easter Daddy) was sweet enough to make a present of it. It arrived today, and I think I'm in love. I'm still reeling from the amazing quickness of making a lemon chiffon pie (eggs, crusts, etc). Aside from being adorable, you get amazing power, even on low speeds. The bowl fits securely, and is even easily removed. Likewise, the various beaters switch out easily. And the bowl: HUGE, I'm already picturing myself whipping up fruitcakes in there! I debated for Dayssss on the color. My kitchen is retro-50's-milky-turquiose, and I was afraid this color would look wierd when it arrived. It's actually a PERFECT match to the color of my retro TST dishes! Total smiley-ness.
