I bought the mixer for my wife for Mother's day. It's a great mixer for everday use and looks great on the countertop--a nice kitchen decoration!
My problem is with Kitchen Aid. When I got the mixer, KA was promoting a free attachment. I chose the slicer/shredder, sent in all the paperwork, and as of 11/5/02 (6 months after purchase), I have not received the attachment. What's more, I get a different story every time a call those people. First they tell me it's shipped, then not shipped, but will be arriving very soon, new people are handling the promotion, blah, blah, blah. Now they want me to provide the serial # and model #. Their claim is now that it was shipped months ago. Come on KA, just send me the darned attachment!
