I ordered this mixer for my 82 year old Mom who has limited use of her hands because of arthritis. I set the mixer up so I could show her how to use it and we made a batch of cookies. This mixer is the best. We did not have to use a spatula. The mixer mixed the dough well enough that utensils are needed very little. I loved the mixer so much that I ordered the second one for me. I have had the kitchen aid Artsin mixer for a month but by far it has out weighed my expections. I use it atleast once a week. It is very easy to use and clean up is a breeze. Wow, my mom bought me one of these a while back for my birthday, but it did not come from here. It cost her much more, even though she found a very good deal also. Mine did not come with the splatter cover. I bought her this one, saved tons, and she loves it. If you plan to make cookies or bread you need this stregth motor, but it is pricey. This one was a great deal, and the quality cannot be beat when it comes to mixers. My grandma has one that is over 40 years old and just now getting old, ha ha just kidding hers is fine.
