I can't say enough good things about the Kitchenaid Stand Mixer in general. Mine did however come with a small problem: the blending paddle doesn't quite reach the bottom of the bowl so some ingredients go unmixed. When I tried to adjust the housing as directed in the owner's manual, even a small lowering caused the paddle to hit one side of the raised divet in the mixing bowl (but still leave some ingredients unmixed). After 31 years of faithful service my KitchenAid mixer went haywire. So when I went to Amazon I was delighted to find the model I wanted (an upgrade to Artisan) on sale. I am very pleased with it and find it is even easier to use than my previous mixer. I bake a lot of bread and also use the grater, slicer and grinder attatchments. I hope to get a grain mill soon. I couldn't wait to get this mixer and it arrived quicker than expected. I knew I'd love it. It isn't as loud as I thought it would be and mixed bread dough perfectly (the only thing I've tried so far.) It did come with a scratch and I find the bowl almost impossible to remove, but I think I'm gonna really love using this machine. Looking forward to doing my holiday baking as I've never had a stand mixer before. Great price and great service.
