Heaven knows what took me so long to get around to buying a REAL mixer (not a hand mixer) and let me tell you IT'S MORE THAN WORTH THE MONEY!!! It's like having a trustworthy assistant in the kitchen, someone you can hand simple, tedious jobs to and know that they'll be taken care of! And as much as I enjoy doing things with my hands, I have to admit that the job the Artisan does of kneading is superior to my best efforts! This is a FANTASTIC addition to a working kitchen. If you live off of frozen food, you don't need it, but if you love to cook, this will seem like a Godsend.
