We finally had to replace our old trusty Kitchen Aid which was part of our household for 40+ years -- not that it didn't work, but it was getting creaky.
Much to our delight, KitchenAid KSM150PSER Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Empire Red, has continued the tradition admirably with a couple of nice extras - including the snazzy Empire Red Paint Job, and, more importantly, the bigger bowl and splash guard. Time will tell, of course, but this seems an admirable successor to the finest mixer we have ever experienced.
