I just recently purchased my own mixer and I absoulutely love and adore it. I've this mixer numerous times. We bought my mother one for Christmas a few years ago and she loved. So I had to try it out and I can't get enough of it. It is so simple to use, makes baking quite easy. It is quiet, it quick and does not make a mess at all. If I could buy one for everyone I would. I bought the mixer for my wife for Mother's day. It's a great mixer for everday use and looks great on the countertop--a nice kitchen decoration!
My problem is with Kitchen Aid. When I got the mixer, KA was promoting a free attachment. I chose the slicer/shredder, sent in all the paperwork, and as of 11/5/02 (6 months after purchase), I have not received the attachment. What's more, I get a different story every time a call those people. First they tell me it's shipped, then not shipped, but will be arriving very soon, new people are handling the promotion, blah, blah, blah. Now they want me to provide the serial # and model #. Their claim is now that it was shipped months ago. Come on KA, just send me the darned attachment!
