This is my second KitchenAid mixer. I purchased this one in Cobalt Blue because that color seemed to be less expensive than some of the other colors and because it has a heavier motor than my previous one. My old one resides in my daughter's kitchen and still works extremely well for her limited baking projects. I do bread dough in my new one and am extremely pleased with the results. Just follow KitchenAid's instructions. The Cobalt Blue, by the way, is a beautiful color. There was also a perk from KitchenAid with my purchase that consisted of a free grinder attachement. Don't know if that is still available.
